It is the 22nd of the month of Cheshvan . We are facing a week with a lot of events taking place. It will be in the world news, of course , but we will link it all to the Parsha because we have no right to ignore what is happening right now. I am speaking about Israel because everything revolves around drawing lessons for our lives.

If now, after October 7th, even years later, we return to the same talk of trying to see if we can create a Jewish state here with the 19 mandates held by the Ishmaelites who are here. Well, in last week's Parsha, we clearly understood that it was somewhat of a debate between Abraham and Sarah. Abraham thought that Ishmael could live with Isaac, but according to Sarah, it was very, very firm. "Geresh geresh," which truly means to kick them out, because it simply doesn't work together here.

No matter what happens, even if the words are beautiful , it is very, very difficult. However, I want to talk about something that you all know. The end of this week's Parsha , Chayei Sarah, concludes with the death of Ishmael at 137 years old, and it is written, "Va-yigva va-yamot." Rashi says there that, according to the Babylonian Talmud, I believe page 16, it says "ke'im la-di." It means that before he died, he had done Teshuvah. And Rashi says: Ishmael, at the end of his life, he did Teshuvah; he acknowledged everything he had broken, violated, killed, and so on, and he understood.

And this serves as a reminder to all his descendants, who are numerous in the Parsha: they had 12 princes, they had territories everywhere, all the millions and billions that there are. Everything revolves around Israel, even though Ishmael...Well, it reminds them what their mission is here today. What is Ishmael? All these 19 mandates, or all these millions or billions that are out there in the world, what are they making us listen to?

What is "El"? Well, he says "Allahu Akbar," what is "El"? They are going to make the name of God heard, but by force To anyone who doesn't believe or doesn't have enough faith, they will use it—not in the right way, some of them—they will kill in the name of God, they will rape , but they will be here for only one mission. To remind us that we must be united, we Jews.

To remind the entire world that you cannot function without God and have a completely secular world. That is their mission until the end of time. And at the end of time, when they say they are going to do teshuva, there are some excellent ones there too. There are some who are very good among them.

Because Ishmael himself was married to two women. And just look at the Midrash Pirke De-Rabbi Eliezer. There was Fatimah, there was Aïa, one who was very kind and generous. She was blessed to have oil and to recognize the greatness of God.

But there was a second one who was completely cursed, who will never have a territory, whose descendants will always be there to bother everyone and always remind them. You are not united, you do not believe enough in God, and as long as this mission is not accomplished , dear friends, they will always be there to shout it. So the answer for us in this week's parsha, dear friends. Yes , it is that God intervened and said to Abraham, listen to your wife.

Sarah is right. As long as the mission is not complete, there is no room here for two . There is room here for one people who are here. But who understand that we must make Ishmael, we must understand that everything comes from God.

To strengthen ourselves and above all to be united among ourselves and not have words like that. Oh, not that, oh, not the religious ones. Oh, not them, they don't do that. And those ones don't do that, and those ones aren't religious.

We must not arm them. All that, it destroys us among ourselves, and they are happy because they are doing what they are doing, so everything we have today, everything happening in the world right now, everything happening in Europe. It is so that we come together and we cry out, Hashem Ishmael, have an excellent day. ح
