And when He asks you to come back, no matter the conditions you find yourself in, what do you say? You say "Yes, I do ." In those cases, it's the test that your teshuvah from Yom Kippur was sincere. Why? Because if you do teshuvah, if you want to return to God, it’s not simply out of fear, awe, or because you're afraid of being punished . It's because you sincerely felt that those faults created a separation between Him and you. And when He asks you to come back, no matter the conditions you find yourself in, what do you say? You say "Yes, I do." Yes, I want to. So, obviously, you shouldn't stress out.

If sometimes we look grumpy during Sukkot, we all do it, right? There's always a moment where you think , "It’s just not possible, it’s done, we did all that and now one thing leads to another, and this and that." It's normal because, as I told you, what is the essence of the holiday? It’s the simcha; deep down, we are truly happy to be in the sukkah with Hashem.
