There is nothing more joyful than Simchat Torah. Jews dance with the Torah, because the Torah is precious and the Torah is holy. Happy Simchat Torah. There is nothing more joyful than Simchat Torah. Jews dance with the Torah, because the Torah is precious and the Torah is holy. It is a very simple connection between us and the Torah, and directly to the Holy One, blessed be He, so the dance is also with the feet.

The feet are not the intellect; it is not something that understands Torah, delves into Torah, or learns Torah. It is simple, and it even elevates the head, because our connection to the Holy One, blessed be He, does not depend on anything, not even on understanding. It is an inevitable connection, an internal and true connection, and that is why we dance in circles with the Torah, as a way to show our connection, which is an essential one. So, with the help of God , we are right on the eve of Hoshanah Rabbah, when we are judged regarding water.

Water is the abundance for the people of Israel, and it is a day that gives us the conclusion, the final seal , the good note. So, with the help of God, may we all merit a good note, a year full of abundance that overflows and spreads throughout the entire year, and consequently, to dance with the Torah a true dance, an internal dance, with feet that lift the whole body all year long. With the help of God, happy holiday.
