Good morning, may Hashem protect you. An interesting question: is it permitted to speak before morning prayer? Answer: studying Torah, saying words of Torah, there is no problem at all. Good morning, may Hashem protect you. An interesting question: is it permitted to speak before morning prayer? Answer: studying Torah, saying words of Torah, there is no problem at all. On the contrary, it reveals the soul.

It gives even more enthusiasm for prayer. We arrive with what is called an awakened spirit and with much light, but speaking for no reason. Just, you know, starting a conversation and so on . Is that permitted?

Answer: It is a high level, a great merit, not to speak until morning prayer as much as possible. Of course, if you have children, you are married, people ask you questions, call you "daddy," and so on. Well, that is a bit more complicated, but as much as possible, it is very important to keep what we call the mouth ready only for prayer until the end of the prayer. Even in the parts where we can speak before the end of the prayer, it is still good not to speak until the end, and it brings much, much light and many blessings into your life.

May Hashem protect you.
