Boker tov, may Hashem protect you. Interesting question. Let's imagine someone who has done teshuvah. They have returned to Hashem. Thank God. Boker tov, may Hashem protect you. Interesting question. Let's imagine someone who has done teshuvah. They have returned to Hashem.

Thank God. But they want to tell all their family or friends about their past sins. In short , they talk about it openly. In the past, they did this or that, something that was very serious or perhaps not, but they sinned.

Is it permitted or forbidden to talk about that? Answer: completely forbidden. However, in the case where that person is ashamed of what they did. They don't say it to show off: "You know, back then I was like this, like that," and so on.

But they are ashamed, and in order to help others not fall into the same trap they fell into, they share what they did to help them avoid it. When it is done with what we call fear of Heaven and with a great deal of humility, and not to boast, but just to help others, it is permitted to do so. May Hashem protect you. Have a wonderful day.
