3MN DE TORAH POUR COMMENCER LA JOURNÉE - 🍎 LE FRUIT

Today is the 26th of the month of Tishrei, and on the secular calendar, it is October 7th, three years later. We will try to understand a message that is, of course, linked to the Torah portion. Bereshit, and we will understand that the first mitzvah in the Torah, the first duty, is "pru u’rvu," to be fruitful. Well, having children of course, but even everything in the world, everything we do must bear fruit.

That is the goal. The fruit , what does the fruit actually do? It is ready to give its life. It will even rot so that others can benefit from it.

Someone who, all his life, wants to be in the image of God, because that is the goal. That is why He brought us here into the world, to try to be in His image. We have the 13 attributes of God, if you will, and we learn patience ; working little by little, we become like Him, in the image of God and not like an animal. Animals always have interests; they always have needs.

But we try to be—what is it to love someone? It's to give without expecting anything in return. It is like a fruit, dear friends. Give, just give.

However, no one can understand why God created the nature of the fruit in such a way that it is only after it has rotted in the ground, crushed and turned over, that it can produce an entire tree. In the Psalms we read today, and which we read every Wednesday, it is 94. "El Nekamot Hashem." We see there in the Psalms—I think it is the Psalm that must be read, not today because today is Wednesday.
